The Jets need to replace the Devil Sanchez with Tebow now! (1 Viewer)

Ok, I have to admit this is a bit weird.

Prior to Monday Night's Game Tim Tebow tweeted this.

"Looking forward to giving God all the glory in tonight's 666th Monday Night Football game. Romans 8:37-39,"

After Monday Night's Game Mark Sanchez's stats look like this entering week 6.

He wears no 6.

He has 6 Td's 6 Int's

He has a quarterback rating of 66.6

His longest pass on the season is 66 yards.

And when rounded up he is averaging 6.6 yards per attempt.

Remember Tebow threw for 316(John 3:16) yards last year vs the Steelers in the Playoffs as well. I can laugh it off but it does make one pause for a second. If you wrote that into a movie script people would think it was over the top.

I mean what is next? Will Tebow replace Sanchez for good on the 6th play of the 6th drive in week 6?

Then again perhaps it is Tebow that is the Anti-Christ

Remember Tebow threw for 314(John 3:14) yards last year vs the Steelers in the Playoffs as well. I can laugh it off but it does make one pause for a second. If you wrote that into a movie script people would think it was over the top.

That's pretty friggin weird.

I am now dumber from having read this. Lol
Or maybe you were always dumb.
Oooooooooh you got me dere, man you got me...dat was like...a really nice dis. Like...I said I am now dumber and den you said "nah you were always dumb"! Dat was like... So funny! Please tell us, where do you get your material? We all want to be as witty as you! Don't hold us in suspence!"You're head has the th...thick candy shell, Richard". - tommy boy

I was skeptical at first when I read this last night.

But then this morning, starting at 6 am, I farted 6 times within 6 minutes.

Now I'm a believer.

Tebow referenced Romans 8:37-39

Since the Jets were playing the Texans that night, I think it was a typo and he meant to reference the immediately preceding - Romans 8:36

"As it is written, for they sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter."

Sanchez' yards per rushing attempt this season....

1.666

Last year he had 6 rushing TD, all from within the 6 yard line, which are worth 6 points in my league.

Tebow's debut @STL 11-18-12?Jeremiah 11:18-12:6

Jeremiah's Complaint

But you, O Lord, know me; you see me, and test my heart toward you.

Pull them out like sheep for the slaughter, and set them apart for the day of slaughter.

How long will the land mourn and the grass of every field wither?

The Lord Answers Jeremiah

“If you have raced with men on foot, and they have wearied you, how will you compete with horses?

For even your brothers and the house of your father, even they have dealt treacherously with you; they are in full cry after you;

do not believe them, though they speak friendly words to you.”

Ok, a bit of a stretch here...

The "Mark" of the beast, or 666, if in the Book of Revelation 13:17-18.

13 - number of fumbles lost in Sanchez' career

17 - number of TD passes Sanchez had in year 2

18 - number of INTs Sanchez had in year 3

2/3 = .666
