what I learned is that UK conservatives came out in full force 

if USA liberal left wants to compete better, they need to come off their far left agendas .... but that's my opinion and really in today's political climate I'm not even sure what % of the voting people really are unsure anymore. I think most know they'll vote Trump in 2020 or anyone but Trump in 2020 - and it doesn't matter who he's running against

I think that's a little overstated but a rather fine observation. The NHS is already in place and we're not trying to overturn results about insurance by electing somebody like Scott Brown to the Senate.  

I don’t think it is overstated at all.  On a macro level.  Not even close really.
