As of right now, Lowrie is a super-sub. He's supposed to fill in if any of the other IF positions need a day off. In ST he took reps everywhere. So if he stays as a super-sub (and possibly even if he doesn't) he may have 5 starts at 3B by the ASB. I could also maybe see a situation where he has the everyday job at SS but then when someone else needs the day off, Jed plays 1b/3b/2b and Scutaro fills in at SS. It would seem overly disruptive but not impossible.

Against LH pitchers I wouldnt be surprised to see Scutaro at SS, Jed at 3B, Youk/Gonzalez covering 1B/DH.

Red Sox SS Jed Lowrie, who has started all three games of the team's recent winning streak, going 8 for 14 (.571) with two home runs during that stretch, will get priority over Marco Scutaro at shortstop at least while he's hot, according to WEEI.com. Manager Terry Francona recently called Scutaro after a game to explain his reasoning. "I told him, 'Hey, man -- look. … I think you're a pro, but we can't keep this kid out of the lineup. I wouldn't be doing my job,'" Francona said. "And I said, 'If you want to come and talk to me, I owe you that, but I have to play this kid.'"

Had 3 units on NYY to win AL East at +150.

Last night I tacked on 5 more units on NYY to win AL East at -110.

ALso have 1 unit on Baltimore at +1800

3rd start of the year at 3B for Lowrie.

Dice K is going to be an inconsistent train wreck. That is a given. But I am encouraged by Lackey's last 2 starts.

I don't know what is wrong with Jenks. Wilked spent all winter telling us that his FLARK% and DUCHE ratios were so good last year.
