Clifton roots for all Colorado teams? Do you just dream this stuff up? I grew up in Boston. I root for Boston teams. Clifton is an account I use during the NFL season because people I know IRL know Finless and I'd rather post with anonymity. So yeah I have no idea what you're talking about Clifton rooting for Denver teams. He hails from the Sierra Nevada's and Follows Closely the Forty Niners. I don't root for Colorado teams. Notice how the people who talk about the sox fan vase being poor and hated are always NY or Rays fans? Once in a while another AL central fan will say something but that's it. People hate success. Just go over to the sharkpool and look at the teams who are most often #### on. It's the Pats and the Steelers. It's all about success. Maybe some fans they're just upset because at their home games there's more Red Sox fans there than there are their own fans....it must suck. (record for use of they're, their, and there in one sentence)
That's all it really is. Sox were selling out games well before any championships were one. Once Pedro came to town and then they signed Bichette and Manny, the seats were full. You were witnessing a fan base that had had enough. Were tirednof losing and had just watched the Patriots rattle off 3 Super Bowls. Just because a few tools around here want to call a fan base hated doesn't make it so. I agree there's a lot of hatred. It stems from success and being tired of being outnumbered at your own ballpark.
