Then today's your day...at least for a little whileDice to DL, Sox rotation just got really thin. Aceves and Wake will be filling in. Tonight's rainout was helpful... I have tickets tomorrow, doesn't look to be any better

Can't throw strikes, but at least the National Treasure is consistent with visits to the DL (6th time in the last 4 years).

The worst part is I still kinda believe.What is Daisuke's effective MLB salary? Something like $9MM per? I realize it's around $100MM/6 years but it has to be treated differently as half of that was the posting fee which doesn't count to the luxury tax. I'm still not sure if that's a terrible price for what the Sox got.

His K/9 has been on a slide (from his debut) from 8.8 to a current 6.3 and his K/BB is almost at 1:1 and his HR/9 is at his career norm. I could care less a this point about his contract, it's a sunk cost. Going 4 2/3 or 5 and 1/3 and the taxing the pen every start is his calling card and it's gotten old. I can barely stand to watch his games, God Bless Francona sitting there in the dugout itching to reach for the phone to call the pen. I'm not sure what it is about him, he might think he's trying to out smart hitters by pitching backwards, but it's not working.

Papelblown has some KRod in him. He looked absolutely filthy once the bases were loaded (I was actually rooting for him to get out of it for fantasy reasons).

I think I offered it up before they even won a game, no takers. Lots of people want to talk about how the Sox suck, their bullpen sucks, the starters are average at best. Lots of talk but people don't want to put their money up.

I LOVE THIS TEAM!!! (no shtick)

They've made me :boatloads: in the past two days. I bet them all 3 games against Cleveland because we all know that the Tribe is a fraud. Should have been a sweep, if that douchenozzle who replaced Pedroia could have stopped a ground ball.

 
BOston is now 10-2 over our last 12 games and 16-7 this month :thumbup:

That is with:

Crawford batting .212

Pedroia batting .246

JD Drew batting .232

Salty, Tek, Scutaro all batting under .235

Should be interesting once the offense wakes up fully....

Crawford on fire NBA Jams style over the last 2 games. 7 for 8 with 2 singles, 2 doubles, 2 triples, and 1 HR.

In the last 26 hours or so Boston has outscored Cleveland and Detroit 28-3 while posting up 36 hits.

 
So is there a set rotation @ catcher with Salty and Tek?

What I think I know.....

Tek will always catch Beckett

Salty will always catch Wake (If he stays in the rotation)
