I am starting Matty over Vick, because Leinert looked really solid last week and all the reasons the voices in my head told me not to draft Vick on draft day are getting louder. That and the Stiller D scares me.
Oh and I also have Penny v. the Lions D as my flex so, Leinert's riskiness is mitigated.

I have this same decission to make. Miami is tough to run on so favre will have to air it out. Hoewever, Arizona plays oakland. Nuff said. Still havn't decided.

I'm considering the exact same thing - due to the possible gusty winds in Cincy.As an afterthought, I was thinking that it could be a shootout with a lot of throwing between Palmer and Delhomme.

I am starting Leinart over Rivers because of the match up.

I am going with Leinart over Brady for much the same reasons. I think the Pats will possibly run the ball 40 times in this game and Brady's passing will be limited.I am also starting Leinart over Carson Palmer who faces the Panthers pass rush which could lead to fumbles and interceptions again like the 2 poor games he has had earlier in the year.There is more to it than that though. The opponent I face has no starting Qb for this week due to injuries and demotions. He is starting Kurt Warner. So it is partly gamemanship that I am starting Leinart to make the loss sting more.But the main reason I am starting Leinart is because I think he has the best matchup and will score the most points out of my 3 options. If I were playing against a stronger team I might take the safer route and start Palmer instead.

I would hope so.the Deadskins have a banged up secondary that Manning should be able to abuse this week.As far as your Rivers option I don't like him so well against the KC veteran corners.Starting leinart over Favre is a tougher choice though.

Well it's not even close to me... Leinart threw for two td's and 0 picks vs the best defense in the league. Count me in the Leinart over Favre camp. Really its a no-brainer. I traded for him this week with the intention of starting him almost every week.
After his first two starts, I'm confident Leinart will be a Top 5 fantasy QB from here on out. He is the kind of value play who wins you championships. He can't do that on your bench.
Start with extreme confidence vs. Oakland.

ditto. drafted warner, leinart and favre for a reason.the matchup dictates leinart, but Mia's been giving up some TDs thru the air so IMO neither are bad plays.

Like the Pennington owner, I'm on the fence with Kitna vs. Leinart. NYJ and DET could be an aerial shootout, weather permitting. But it will be tough to bench Leinart from here on out..

Allow me a collective for the group.
Wow, certainly wasn't expecting the whole team to #### the bed the way it did. Leinart didn't look horrible, was def. off on a few passes, not nearly as good as he looked the first two games, but this was a team loss.
The big question now becomes do you start him next week vs. a GB team that gave up 400+ to Harrington?
I think I'm going to give him the start (over Favre), but if the team looks just as flat in this game heading into the bye, I'll be very concerned about Leinart/Boldin/Fitz prospects from here on out.

Went the wrong way on this, even though my gut told me that Det/NYJ would be a shootout. Still won thankfully. I just think this was a team recovering from an emotional MNF game against the game's best defense, and they let down. They weren't mentally ready to play. Doesn't discount what I saw a week ago. I'm playing Leinart with confidence against GB this week, and expecting a huge game, 300+ yards and 2+ TD's.
