The Pirates are 9-3 against the Cubs this year. They are 18-48 against the rest of the league.

If the Cubs could eat the Pirates at the same rate as everybody else does, they would be only 3.5 out of first.

They would be 40-38 if they beat the Pirates at the same rate that everybody else does.

unfortunately, we only have 3 more games against the cubs. i think its the cubs announcers. the pirates players have heard the insanely negative things being said about them by len and bob and are making them pay. i've never heard an announcer as downright mean about another team as bob brenly is about the pirates.
