Joy Reid’s new show The Reidout premieres tonight on MSNBC. Her first two guests: Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton. 
 

I used to be a big fan of Joy Reid, then after the revelation of her bigotry I was really disappointed and I stated here I would never watch her again. But then she both explained and publicly apologized, which is a big deal to me, and I slowly became a fan of hers again. Now I’ve forgiven her and she is terrific. One of the best interviewers in the business and she’s a lot more interesting than Maddow (or anyone else on MSNBC with the possible exception of Nicole Wallace.) Can’t wait to watch.

This is troubling.  Biden won, instead of being happy and enjoying the moment as we should Reid moves right onto the next topic to be angry about. People should be happy.

The funny part is that without Trump her show has a chance to break records for all-time low viewership...it has been an easy four years of content for someone like Joy...with Orange Man gone, she and a few others are gonna really struggle to fill up a 1/2 hour of content let alone an hour...gotta love unintended consequences...

I mentioned in another thread someplace how social media has affected the way we look at journalists.  If it weren't for social media, we wouldn't know that Joy Reid is a clown.  Thanks to Twitter, though, we know not to grant her any more credibility than Aunt Suzie from the Facebook.

And seriously, if she was a homophobe, would Rachel Maddow have had her guest host on her show about a dozen times in last couple years, not to mention Jonathan Capehart of WaPo, who is gay, appeared on the AM Joy show numerous times and more recently on The Reidout.

Not true.  Obviously James Clyburn and the blacks in South Carolina who voted for Biden didn't accept that accusation of racism either. And Harris would never have become his vice president if she honestly believed that he is a racist.
