The "white Reggie Bush" (1 Viewer)

2- The offense that team runs is boring as hell
Youth football offenses are 95-99% run. The less time the ball is in the air the better. Around here most of the teams (with the exception of a few 8th grade teams) run some sort of Wing-T/double wing/wishbone/fullhouse type of offense.

Wow! Turf field . . . nice.

Also, they are running the wing-t. I coached that in high school and always knew it would do well in little league if coached right.

I've taught and coached kids for several years and I can tell you that you can learn a lot about their parents by how the kids act.
Nipsey knows better.
I liked it better when she was a lurker.

The ones that are sexually and mentally abused are generally the most reserved at that age.
That's neato.

:goodposting:
Withdrawl/extreme shyness are classic symptoms of children who've been abused.
No doubt. But that has nothing to do what is being discussed in this thread. Linking the two is the fishing trip.
I'm not the one who made the initial point that the way the kid acts after a score is indicative of how he was parented. I was refuting it.
If that was your goal, you've failed miserably.
How so?
You haven't successfully refuted the comment that "how kids act at that age is indicative of quality of parenting". Is it true in 100% of cases? Probably not.Is it generally true, like say 80-90% of the time? Yeah.So do we have proof positive that this kid has "good parents"? No, but if you were given even odds, you'd probably gamble that his parents are pretty good. If you disagree with that, then you need to spend some time as either a coach or a referee.
I wonder if the parents had anything to do with putting together the highlight reel featuring an offensive, profanity-laced soundtrack.

You need to record a Cody Paul tribute song ala "Brady". I'm thinking something to the tune of Oasis's "Wonderwall".

Meh.... Sr Highlight video shows a whole lot of solid blocking and some decent running. Talent pool has caught up. nothing to see here.

I don't know about that. The majority of the other teams were full of the blacks and he was outrunning them.

The most this kid is going to get from his talent on the football field is a paid education. That is not a bad thing. It is highly unlikely he will be playing football on Sundays.

Griffin pride baby, yes I graduated from Los Al in '93. We've had some some studs play there but none with the hype that he had!

At 12 years old, he had talent. His senior year highlights showed me nothing special. He'll probably do ok in Div II ball. Maybe play Arena League.

Ran for 1300 yards his sr. year in HS. - Cody Paul is now at Chadron State.- That's where Danny Woodhead played btw.

2013: Made the most of his opportunities in the backfield and rushed for 273 yards on 33 carries … He averaged a whopping 8.3 yards a carry and his role in the offense is expected to increase in 2014 … In the spring of 2014, Cody was named the strongest player (pound-for-pound) on the team.
2014 he went:

83/540/6.5/4 - rushing

7/40/5.4/0 - rec

Chadron went 8--3.

5'6, 160 lbs. Woodhead is 5'8, 200.

Stoked for the kid, our High School has had it's fair share of big name athletes and celebrities come out of there but I can't remember following the news on anyone more than him. OMG look at me, I went to Cody Paul's school 20 years before him!!111
