Plenty of sports teams in this area have had success in recent years (contrary to the opinions here, baseball isn't the only sport played), and I've never seen the universal level of idiocy that I've seen from Sox fans from any of them. Not even Gator fans.I have nothing against the Pats, Celts, Bruins or racist white people in general...but Sox fans seem to be the worst collection of people in the universe. jmo

Just read in The Sporting News that although their team finishes last every year, Devil Rays fans have the highest IQ of any baseball fans. So they have that going for them. The Finless alias is annoying as hell for Red Sox fans and non Red Sox fans alike but your hatred for Red Sox fans knows no boundaries. Is it because they fill the Trop every time the Sox are in town?

I stand by my posts. I'm sure a lot of other non Pats fans would agree. There was no shtick in that thread. Calling a ref a Zebra or a bad pass a duck isn't shtick. I'm a big fan of both of these teams. Now quit being a creep.

What are you 10 years old?I didnt get upset about anything you posted. I dont even like Peyton Manning. I was a Manning hater right up until he beat the Pats in the AFCCG last year. Have to respect the game he played. But I do think it is an embarassment that you are associated with being a Pats fan on this board. Stating that the ref made a bad call on the 2nd pass interference call is one thing, #####ing and moaning about the officiating after they had already won the game is embarassing.

I went to a wedding in Boston this past weekend.... As soon as I get off 95, I'm driving thru these traffic circles and a car pulls up, gives me the finger and the guy is screaming something about NY sucks, the Yankees suck.... WELCOME TO BOSTON!!!!!No Yankee stickers on the car - just a simple NY plate and the guy goes off......

I'm calling bull#### here. Yankee fans a very prevalent here , hats , jackets & stickers etc. . No one gave you the finger because you had NY plates , if you got the bird it was because you were a tool on the road not because you're a Yankee fan.

Agreed, But I have no idea what you are talking about. Show me where I was #####ing and moaning about the refs after the game was over. Just do me that favor. I think you may be a bit delusional. On another note, all Bostonians aren't racist Cappy...just like half of them. No, I'm kidding. That was years ago. The Celtics are trotting out black guys these days and the Red Sox don't have their yearly party at racist establishments anymore.

Back to the Yankees. Thing are not looking that smooth. I guess it's tough on chemistry when you bring in big ticket free agents this often. I'm actually looking forward to the Girardi era. I like him.
