There you have it. (1 Viewer)

Another run where he got tripped up by the shoestrings by Zach Thomas he had 50 yards of open field.
Anybody see him run through that Zach Thomas tackle? That made me pump my fist more than anything else he did. Q Griffin he is not.

did anyone else bench parker this week.

I started LT and Gore (vs Cards).

I thought the Miami D would limit the scoring.

I didn't see a signal to come out either, he seemed to look to the sideline waiting to see if he was going to be pulled. Just my observation, I'm not convinced either way.

Yeah I hate it when my rbs run for over 100 yds in a game.

... and gets outscored by a guy who runs for only 30 and 2 TDs.
and half the carries
Seriously, moral victories are cheap in FF. Gimme the points.
Ya....because both FWP and Brown were high #1's in you draft right? FWP=gettin' ready to roll in 2006Brown and MIA offense=

You missed it. 5 million people saw Willie raise his hand to ask to come out.

It's tough for some of them because they can't get any reception on the TV in their parents basements.
I don't often laugh out loud while sitting by myself reading message boards on the internet. This line is classic. definately sig worthy. Do you mind?
It loses something out of context.

Big season coming for FWP. Wish I had him in a few more leagues. Ronnie Brown owners are in for a long season. Less than 3 ypc for Brown...yeah you Brown owners should be proud and talking trash on FWP. I would be nervous if I were you.
On what earthly planet should Brown owners be "worried" about 62 total yds and 2 TD vs 1 of the best Ds in the NFL?
ooooooooooooooooooh 62 whole total yards? lolnuff said, newb.
:lmao:

I think that fumble at the Goal line might help cement FWP as the GL back!

I have Brown in only 1 of my 8 leagues. In that leauge, I drafted him 1.09. Parker went at 2.10 in that very draft. Brown outscored Parker by 34% in week one.

I was thinking to myseft when willy raised is finger in the air as he walked toward the sidelines- Is he asking for a breather or reminding the sidelines that he supposed to come out on goal line stuations?

I guess only time will tell.

What are you rolling your eyes about? Its a legit question until I get a quote from Cowher about why he came out in that situation

You have to be excited to be a FWP owner. Parker was absolutely psyched last night. He was trying to break every run. Slamming the ball down when he nearly did on a few occassions. He looks hungry.

I know, you saw what happened, so you know what happened. Its info like this that keeps me coming back to the shark pool

I distinctly saw willieP wave to slide lines after the carry to the one.He had 7 touches on the 8 minute drive. Including two carries before batch's fumble at the one.Classic overreaction by the minions of the pool.

Gamebook has him touching the ball 8 times on that drive for 39 yards (the 7 carries referenced above plus a catch), including 2 carries for 6 yards each the previous 2 plays. Think there's just a small chance maybe he was a bit winded?

I'd heard there was some good ffl talk here, but um...

That's exactly my point. I Ronnie performed to his ADP; while FWP outperformed his ADP. The FWP owners (myself included) are happy that he got 115 yds, 3 rec......he was THE offense on 1st and 2nd down and MIA couldn't shut him down.Ronnie Brown outscored FWP by 4 pts in my PPR league. If I'm the Ronnie Brown owner I'm nervous about MIA offense (insert joke here). I think both will be great. But according to ADP; FWP=Value....(in my league this week)It'll be great to see Ronnie against a weaker opponent; especially since I played the Ronnie Brown owner this week.

Does today's Davenport signing make Parker's sub-out at the 1 look more or less like "a breather"?

Fair question. . .

Unsolicited attacks are becoming quite commonplace around here aren't they?
Not more or less than there have been in the past. Not more or less than I expect in the future. It's the nature of people posting anonymously on an Internet message board. We like to think our board is somewhat different in that we won't tolerate very much of it and there are repercussions. As always we'll try to maintain a professional atmosphere on our boards.

Good to hear. Many of us will appreciate that :)

Watching the game again on NFL Network. Parker definitely raised his hand and took himself out. FWIW.

Davenport wasn't picked up to be Parker's back-up, My guess is he'll try out to be the next bus. Maybe be the mini-bus, or the short bus. Either way he probably screw me up in the 3 of 7 leagues I have FWP.

The sad part is I knew when he was cut he'd end up in Pitt!
