Studying cow belching is nothing new. This has been going on for quite some time. Swedes are just slow. This was known to Jeremy Rifkin back in 1992. In his book, "Beyond Beef: The Rise and Fall of the Cattle Culture", Rifkin states that cattle are a major cause of pollution, deforestation, desertification and, through the methane they produce, global warming. The EPA has thrown $$$ at the topic for years
