Which is?True, but most will be a big upgrade with weather. And Denver has some surprisingly good restaurants, including probably the best sushi restaurant I’ve been to.

Sushi Den, though the same owners have another couple restaurants that are equally good.Which is?
Same reason I mentioned it.I can't speak for everyone but the only reason I mentioned it was because the OP mentioned it regarding where he currently lives and, not knowing how important that is to him, I thought it was information worth mentioning. I suspect that's why the few other posts you found mentioning political leanings also mentioned it. We don't know how important it is to the OP. Personally, I don't care. I just tried to give as much pertinent information as I could so he could make an informed decision by whatever criteria was important to him.
Man, I'm just looking for areas/neighborhoods to live that might fit my family, etc. I'm not looking to opine on the overall political leanings of the entire Denver metro area. I live in suburban Chicago. In a liberal suburb. Across the street from me - literally other side of the street - is the south end of an extremely conservative suburb. Not fishing ... I'm actually reading people's opinions on how liberal the area is. Like it's a selling point? ... or not liberal enough is a deal-breaker?
This is cracking me up.Not fishing ... I'm actually reading people's opinions on how liberal the area is. Like it's a selling point? ... or not liberal enough is a deal-breaker?
I've been to Chicago but not super familiar with that dynamic. How do the suburbs vary so much by a street or one block? Like what makes one neighborhood "liberal" and one across the street "conservative?" Also not fishing and genuinely curious.Man, I'm just looking for areas/neighborhoods to live that might fit my family, etc. I'm not looking to opine on the overall political leanings of the entire Denver metro area. So that's the context of the topic. Appreciate you clarifying that this wasn't a fishing expedition.
What the heck kind of beer are you drinking? Kolsh and witbier?Far better beer in Chicago.
How would one even know?I've been to Chicago but not super familiar with that dynamic. How do the suburbs vary so much by a street or one block? Like what makes one neighborhood "liberal" and one across the street "conservative?" Also not fishing and genuinely curious.
I like Avery the best of those three. Colorado beer just tastes different, lighter. Could be the altitude. I can assure you I don’t drink witbier or kolsch:What the heck kind of beer are you drinking? Kolsh and witbier?
Oskar Blues, Left Hand, Avery ... heck, I'd go there for the pot ... and stay for the beer.
Look at the voting results of each area. How would one even know?
Are there Biden/Harris signs in every yard? ... or can you just tell by what kind of car is in the driveway?
I'm in MA ... Blue through and thru ... But I have no idea who my neighbors voted for and they don't know my political status. There is the occasional Trump flag or Biden bumper sticker as you drive thru town but nothing that affects everyday life.
Voting records. Evanston = crazy blue. Wilmette = strongly red. I live on the border between the two. You can see it in voting maps that get published. How would one even know?

Answered in previous post. Voting records/articles/maps that show voting records. To be clear, I have no idea who my neighbors down the block and across the street voted for. I’m talking overall for the entire suburb.I've been to Chicago but not super familiar with that dynamic. How do the suburbs vary so much by a street or one block? Lol. My former boss told me “be careful moving to Denver, there are pothead zombies wandering the streets everywhere.”Bunch of potheads out there
I've been to and stayed in the suburbs of Denver a couple times. It's definitely a lot different than I'm used to, but I've always lived in the South. People seem to really like it there and are moving there by the tons. Beautiful area and good skiing but just not my style as far as living somewhere goes. My buddy just moved back to the South after living in Loveland for 15 years and I have another buddy up in Cheyenne. They both liked it, but I think my buddy in Loveland had all he wanted and my other buddy in Cheyenne works on base there and is really into rock climbing.Lol. My former boss told me “be careful moving to Denver, there are pothead zombies wandering the streets everywhere.”
GLLLLLLLLLLLHeaded out to Denver in late July for a final round of interviews. 2 day visit. Likely will be able to carve out a 1/2 day to drive around and see neighborhoods.
Thanks to those who have shared thoughts so far. Super helpful!
