Arod is playing in a loaded lineup and seems to be on a mission this year. Remember, it wasn't too long ago when Arod was considered to be the consensus # 1 overall pick. Pujols is a great player who will turn it around but his lineup isn't as potent. Your deal was horrible. This deal, while Id rather have the ARod side, is ALOT closer.
His deal isn't as horrible as it may appear when you look at his depth.
With the way A-Rod is hitting it does change. Arod's a guy that's always had the talent to be the best player in baseball, but psychologically wasn't there. Now it looks like he's back.Pujols has had roids rumors and some people have been saying he looks smaller this season. He'll definately improve, but it's unclear if we'll see the same Pujols as we did in 05/06Awesome.Good to know. I'll say this - if you had a draft today, A-Rod would certainly be at least the 2nd overall pick. THAT has changed in 2 weeks.Awesome.Good to know. God, here we go.......Come on.Its a 2/3 week sample size. Pujols will be FINE. A-Rod is looking like a Monster this year......but both are about as close to a wash as they come.With the way A-Rod is hitting it does change.
