Depending on the scoring system is is worth that position. IF he is healthy and he were to play like he did pre-injuries, he is a #1 LB but with two knee injuries, a new scheme and a possible new position you should monitor this closely.I like him where you have him, #3
That would seem to be true. So where the hell is Davis playing? In this week's Eyes of a Guru, Norton mentions Davis as WLB. Is he wrong? Their projections also have Davis really high. Is there any other info someone can give to clear this up?
It's a LOLB/ROLB situation. Davis is playing LOLB on the snaps I've watched, Anderson the ROLB. Not to speak for John, but I think the reason for the projections difference is the longer term expectation that Davis, not Anderson, will be the nickel OLB when Beason returns.

I saw him on both sides of the field in one game I was charting. It isn't just John, it seems everyone but the Panthers have him playing WLB. Rotoworld lists him as WLB and Panthers.com as SLB. Guess we'll have to wait and see but he looked better in coverage than Anderson. He scored pretty well there early in his career so it may not matter.
