THREE teams interested in Moss (1 Viewer)

Per CBS Sportsline...

On the morning of the 2007 NFL Draft, multiple reports are coming in saying that the Raiders are close to a deal that would send WR Randy Moss out of Oakland in exchange for a draft pick. The San Francisco Chronicle reports that the Packers and Patriots are two teams believed to be in discussion with the Raiders, but the Wisconsin State Journal reports that a third unknown team has also joined the bidding. The Raiders are reportedly after a first-day pick, possibly a second-round choice, in exchange for Moss. Furthermore, if a trade with Moss is consummated, the likelihood that they will draft rookie stud WR Calvin Johnson goes up.
Asa Moss owner... either one is OK with me (but i prefer him stying out of the NFC North). Brady to Moss? hmmm...

I'm a Moss owner as well and Falcon fan. I wish Moss had a better reputation - I think the Atlanta teams (Braves and Falcons) really look at character and team chemistry first when considering bringing guys on.

Braves' mistakes in the past as far as team chemistry and character:

1) Kenny Lofton

Falcons' mistakes in the past as far as team chemistry and character:

1) Deion Sanders

2) Jeff George

3) Jerry Glanville

I'm guessing the other team is TB giving themselves another option if they can't land Calvin Johnson and they definelty have plenty of extra picks. Just my guess here.

Wasn't Eugene Robinson NFL man of the year the same year he got caught with the prostitute?

Calling Michael Vick a "coach killer" may come to fruition yet. I don't know if ERob was a head case but he certainly screwed the pooch before the biggest game in his career (or perhaps he should've gone for a pooch instead of a prostitute). The other guy that I was thinking about was the dreadlocked safety - I called him "Toast" but I can't remember his name now.

WOW, the Patriots O with a healthy and motivated Randy Moss would be a sight to see. Imagine being a defensive coordinator trying to plan against that defense... it would explosive as all hell (and the best part is that the Patriots O-line is an underrated top 10 unit).

Brady throws accurately AND deep.

Stallworth and Moss can go downfield and catch.

Welker in the slot.

Watson/Dave Thomas as the pass catching TEs.

Maroney coming out of the backfield.

And this goes without mentioning key role-players like Kevin Faulk, Troy Brown, Heath Evans, and Sammy Morris, who all can contribute.

Don't even bother drafting any of these guys except Brady or Maroney next season. Those two could put up some absurd numbers.

What's your point? It was a female prostitute he was soliciting. :own3d:

I was just stating that he must have had a good character to get that award. true he did screw up once but I wouldn't think he deserves to be on this list for 1 mistake when the other guys where constant headaches for ATL. Just my
