Thursday Night Games (1 Viewer)

On a short week where teams have not had time to recover, it would seem to me that teams will score more points than their season average. The defenses will have been beaten down and the speed players will have the edge.

I am sure that there is a way to mine this data. Thoughts?

The only thing I have done to address the time to recover was in the Injury Tracker dataset I examined for the 2005 season. The sample size was tiny of course, but during that season there were 4 Questionable fantasy starters for Thursday night games and 3 of those played, as did all 3 Probable fantasy starters. Those are much higher play rates, especially for Questionable players, than the overall play rate. I would have expected it to be quite a bit less.
