I realize theyre not the best team I was just proud of the Yanks!Who said they were the best team in baseball? I'm not a Yankee hater at all but they do have some fans who are complete #######s.Yankees injury depleted lineup about to sweep them in a 4 game series. Their rookie stud so far has allowed 4R to a lineup minus Jeter, Matsui, Sheffield. Damon missed yesterday and Rivera is out tonight as well. Yanks keep chuggin along!
The Yanks lineup is decimated yet they're about to sweep the team with the best record in baseball. How is that not supposed to make me happy?

by the way, all the people bashing the Yanks Minor League system, how does Melky Cabrera look?!? He's playing very well right now and look more and more comfortable everday. Tony Pena and Robbie Cano have really helped him and he is looking like an everyday Major Leaguer

The Yankees farm system isn't as barren as people make it out to be. I believe Baseball America ranked them in the middle of the pack somewhere.

Just got home from the game. Nice win for the boys and the Sox loss makes it even sweeter. Sat a few seats down from Yzerman,Draper and Lidstrom who also stayed til the happy end!! It's only 1 of 4 but it was a fun one to be at!! Oh yeah,and still the best record in baseball.

But the Tigers have the best record in baseball. At the start of the season we were just hoping for .500 ball, and most of us don't think that we'll keep the best record over the course of the year. So let us have our moment and go back to your #####-fest with Sawx fans.

My Hasslebeck post? Funny thing is I am a 49ers fan but I wouldnt call myself a homer much. I dont often post about the 49ers. I am not as passionate about them as I am about the Yankees. What can I say. I grew up in the 80s in NY. My father was a Yankee fan so I became a Yankee fan. He didnt like basketball or football so I kind of adopted my own teams. Was a big MJ fan and the 1st season I started rooting for them happened to be their 1st championship. Also, was a big Jerry Rice fan but the 1st season I started rooting for them was the year they lost to the Giants in the NFC Championship. You can call me a frontrunner but the Yankees actually sucked then and the Mets won the WS. I was just an impressionable young kid who followed 2 stars and adopted their teams. And Ive stuck with them as I grew up and through both of their trying times.
