Time to cut bait with Jake Plummer? (1 Viewer)

I thought I was doing well grabbing the Two Jakes in my money league, only to find myself starting Kitna every week. He just looks very shaky out there....I started him this week figuring he HAD to wake up against the Raiders at home in prime time, but nope, he stunk it up again. I've had it....i'm cutting him tomorrow for Frye. Anyone holding on to him? If so, why?

Looks like the game plan is to grind out victories with their stable of RB's. Now if they get into a shoot out can Jake make some things happen? Perhaps, but that is too hard to predict and so far this year he has not shown that ability. As a Plummer owner in 2 leagues, I will be dropping him in both, I thought this week we would see a different Jake given the opponent and the national stage.

It appear Shanny does not trust Plummer enough to open it up. I would cut bait to grab Frye too.

Yeah, I'm not starting him anymore. If he can't light it up @home against Oakland, I dunno who he can light up.

I paired him with Favre for the year. He just cost me a super close game. He is going to the waiver wire if I can not bundle him this week as a gimme in a trade for another player. I waited as long as I could.

I agree. @home against Oakland - I was not expecting magic to begin with - but I was certainly not expecting that output.

I picked him up late in the draft to head my QBBC. Thinking I was a very wise man, unfortunatly he sucks. Luckily I managed a Dunn for McNabb trade just before week 3, so I'm set now.

I have him and Byron Leftwich in a bunch of leagues. He's getting dropped for Garrard. I'll take my chances with Jacksonvilles QB then with him. That offense is just too conservative. The defense is too good. I don't see anything really changing. Ball control, let the defense hold em down.

Dropped him today. He's not worth a spot on my roster. Denver will continue to grind it out in spite of complaints from Walker and Smith about its offense being conservative. That's Shanahan's style.

He's got better hands and runs better routes, which are more important.

whatever. Walker is hands down the better reciever 10-fold. He can't get deep as fast as Lelie though.

I just made a trade to get Brady and I already have Delhomme. That sent Plummer straight to the ww. It's gotten bad enough that the guy I got Brady from didn't even want Plummer. He picked Leinert up off ww instead (which I was planning to do if I didn't get a trade done).

PS - to the guy starting Kitna or Delhomme...your scoring must be a lot different than mine, because in my league Jake has outscored Jon 49 - 34 over the last 3 weeks.
