Dude, Monday is my anniversary. My wife wants to walk around one of the quaint villages in our area and window shop and have a picnic on Sunday......Today is going to be a very long day indeed. At least I got Portis going tonight!

At least his wife is suiting up on game day. Mine hasn't been practising for a while and will shortly be listed as PUP (heavily pregnant, due next week). Dude, no doubt.We went to Hawaii for our honeymoon and I had to make calls to get a lineup in etc. Also, the wife's birthday is in the end of August. One year I had the draft on her birthday and one year I had it on our anniversary. It's been so long that I'd watch a Dolphins/49ers game tonight if that was what was on.
See, if you married me this would not be a prob. On the other hand neither my ex-hub or my current sweetie are into football. Fortunately my guy is a touring musician and he's usually on the road or at least doing a gig on weekends. Told him from the get-go that I was not going to be one of those adoring GFs who sit at the front table and fawn
It may be a stereotype but it seems like guys are more low-maint anyway. He doesn't care if I obsess over an online draft with a 12 hour clock for two freakin weeks. Gotta love it.

I don't think they could have picked a worst opener. Though it did beat ARI-SF last year. I wish the doubleheader was Thursday instead of Monday night though. That second half was hard to watch! For makeing us wait 7 months plus we should get treated a little better opening night I would think!

First of all, STOP, do not get married, and under no set of cirucumstances, have children!!!OK, now that we're past that, you just keep thinking that you're gonna have a say at when, where and for how much you're wedding is gonna be. Seriously, you'll be vital in determining which flowers and napkins and food to order for the big day.All I can say is that I found some solace in winning 1 battle at least. If I have to be away for football, at least I got to be in Hawaii, sitting on a balcony in a gorgeous hotel in Kawaii watching football at like 9:00 in the morning. Celebrating your anniversary on opening day of football? My wife would know better. Why not Saturday? Friday? or just any other day. ANyways, I got married in June and the wifes' the birthday is in the middle of January. However, she knows what ever date her birthday falls on we celebrate in on the weekend between the championship games and super bowl. If there is no week in between the Saturday of the championship weekend.

This is extremely poor family planning on your part. You should get divorced and then remarry her in mid to late February.
