Tolbert or Snelling? (1 Viewer)

Do you think Tolbert or Snelling will emerge as the more valuable back going forward. who is better to have in your back pocket down the home stretch?

Snelling is a stud if Turner goes down. Tolbert isn't.
This brings me to a more general question strategy wise. Assuming you are starting neither, is it better to have a Snelling-type that is potentially gold but dependent on an injury or a Tolbert-type, someone who is scoring a consistent, albeit low, number of points each week, whose share would increase a bit with injury. The Snelling-type would be a home run, but what if that injury never happens and you do have to start the guy.

I like Tolbert in redraft, and Snelling in dynasty.

Matthews will be given every chance to succeed longterm in SD, but with Matthews banged up, Tolbert will be a great play as he continues to share carries in a great situation.

I think Atlanta rides Turner more as the year goes on, diminishing Snelling's value. However, Snelling is a FA this year, and might be able to land a starting gig somewhere next year. I don't think he's that talented, but he has produced.
