The weather for Sunday's Jets versus Patriots game in Foxborough will feature heavy rain and windy conditions with gusts up to 50 MPH.

There were some thought that it could be a blizzard-like day at Gillette Stadium, but the forecast now calls for the snow to change to rain prior to game time. As with most inclement weather NFL games, the big factor will be the wind and its effects on the passing game. While we would never advocate benching Tom Brady under any circumstances, this is something to be concerned with.

I really wouldn't worry yet. Follow the situation, of course, but don't worry about it.At the end of the day, all we know is there's a storm coming sometime on the weekend, probably late-Saturday or on Sunday. But it doesn't matter if the storm comes after the game, and it really doesn't matter if it's before since they can clear the field. It's only if the storm hits exactly during the game that it has an impact, and the odds of that are still relatively small.And besides, you'll still get 200 yards and 3 TDs as a minimum. It's not like the guy's going to get skunked, he just might be great instead of ridiculous for one week.
