Top 10 QBs (1 Viewer)

man, this thread makes my head hurt. what exactly are you measuring with your rankins? we've established its not predicting future fantasy points. we've established its not grading previous play. seems we have established its not predicting how good a qb will be next yr.
Not sure where you got this.Mine is pretty simple.

Past Performances, Consistency of Performance, Offense as a whole, strength of schedule based off opponents previous year performance.

That's basically what I did as well, minus the strength of schedule thing. Honestly I don't believe that should have anything to do with it, since that would really just affect stats and fantasy numbers, which are not (or shouldn't be) a part of these lists.QB's can have better stats than others but still not really be better than someone else... with players who are close, you have to go back to the basic eyeball test for who seems better. Roethlisberger is an example of that. Good stats, not amazing, but he's ranked ahead of prettier statted QB's because he passes the eyeball test very well. You just know he's good.

ya his rankings are quite obv meaningless. have no idea why he is ranking qbs lower who will play a harder schedule.

I stated it 3 times, what are you confused about.
Because a persons ceiling isnt how they are going to perform. I presumed this thread was about the top 10 QBs in the NFL next year, not the top 10 active QBs as of right now.If its the latter then:1. Brady2. Brees3. Rodgers4. Manning, Peyton5. Manning, Eli6. Rivers7. Roethlisberger8. Cutler9. Stafford10. Schaub
The second list is clearly what youre looking for, but I dont think its an accurate representation of things to come. Seriously, if youre not going to even read my posts then ignore me, ffs.

You really need to explain why facing a tough schedule somehow makes a QB worse than if he faced an easier schedule. The point of these lists is to judge players on their own merits and not their respective situations. Besides, if anything I'd say facing tougher competition would make a team and player better. I'd say the Giants and Eli benefited heavily from facing New England, San Fran, Green Bay and New Orleans in the regular season.

I never said it made him worse, I was saying I think it will affect their performance(negatively), just like inversely playing a cake schedule or having Jerry Rice on your team affects your performance positively.Peyton Manning in a struggling offense will not be Peyton Manning with a good offense (granted I think this is less of a hindrance than Eli playing a tough schedule). Eli Manning playing against the Packers, Niners, Saints, Steelers, Falcons and Ravens (ignoring completely their competitive division) will not be the Eli Manning of the last 3 years, part of the draw back of winning the superbowl is the first place schedule.Either way im going to delete my original post and leave my list of active QBs in the NFL later in the thread to avoid further apparently off topic discussion.

So basically it was a list of who's most likely to win MVP or OPOY. That makes sense.
Lol, yeah thats what I meant, because I didnt type exactly what I meant in my post...I was under the impression this thread was about who was going to be the top 10 QBs in the NFL next year, not the best active QB as of right now. Two different things, simple as that.
