The best performing receivers in order over the past 15 years are as follows:

Jerry Rice

Harrison

Moss

Carter

T. Brown

TO

Irvin

Bruce

Holt

Jimmy Smith

Herman Moore

Andre Rison

Joe Horn

Joey Galloway

Rod Smith

Just generating discussion...

Thoughts

Carl Pickens, Brian Blades, Sterling Sharpe... Dondé esta?
Blades isn't in the discussion. 4000 yds and 20 TDs after 91.Sterling is 16....

If this were a top 20, I think Pickens is there, but he just misses. 3 stratospheric years, the rest, eh.

Galloway? Hell no.

And I will laugh at the first person who says Keenan McCardell should be on that list.
Galloway is admittedly really borderline, but who would you replace him with? How many guys have 5 seasons since 1991 with 950+ yards and 7+ TDs?

You'd be surprised...

Galloway is 50th right now all-time in receiving yards, behind guys like Johnnie Morton and Ricky Proehl. Who would I put in there ahead of him? Um, Andre Reed.

Since 1991- Ander Reed- 7845/48Galloway- 8501/64

If you replaced Rison and Horn with Keyshawn and McCardell, you'd have the list of the top 15 WRs measured by total FPs from 1991-2005.

I suppose, but Key and McCardell were never really reliable WR1, compilers I guess. You could win championships with Horn and Rison in their day.

I agree that Horn's been the better fantasy player than both.

I've won championships with Keyshawn. As my 3.

Doesn't mean you can't win with Key, just meaning he wasn't the plug and play guy that you could know would light it up.
