Top 2 RB's with same bye week? (1 Viewer)

It's too late now... but in the 3 redraft leagues I participate in this year... I drafted the same top 2 RB's from different draft positions.

10 teamer (6th pick): Willie Parker, Travis Henry

10 teamer (9th pick): Willie Parker, Travis Henry

12 teamer (11th pick): Willie Parker, Travis Henry

In each case, I thought the value of either Parker (who I love) and Henry (who I'm not overly enamored with, but think he can do a decent job) was just too good to pass up where they were drafted.

Would your top 2 RB's having the same bye weeks sway you towards not drafting the 2nd guy if you had him higher ranked than others remaining on the board?

NO!

I have the same situation in one of my leagues. I don't mind if I get the L one week as I get to start my top 2 backs every other week. It's more of an advantage in my mind.

i agree. i fell into the same boat. all of my starters are either off week 6 or 8. both of which are not division games for me. that actually is one of the factors when choosing between similarly ranked players

well im in a PPR league and drafted reggie bush in the first round. 2nd round came and MJD was available but had the same bye week as bush. I ended up passing on him and got McGahee instead.

I ended up gettin Braylon edwards (flex) and Kellen Winslow TE though. so that week might hurt
