I respectfully submit the following feedback.

C'mon guys - where's the quality assurance before you update your site? You gotta know you have a bunch of information hungry loons awaiting these sorts of things and when you come out with out of whack data it does nothing but damage your credibility.

I am a paying customer and visit this site daily and will continue to do so, but I do expect more from you.

Why was this added to the site today though? It looks like good information to look at if its current....

My guess is an unpaid intern or someones wife uploaded the wrong spreadsheet...

I just called David and we pulled the incorrect list off the front page. There has been some kind of data-processing snafu which we are working to correct.

Please ignore the incorrect list if you can still access it, we will have a corrected release up soon.

I endorse this 100%. Don't just go through the motions of throwing content up; I have noticed this more so since the last redesign of the site. That redesign might have included new content management processes/software, hard telling. But give me a text only page with real/accurate data and articles please. The very first link on the main page has been a dead link for weeks (LexyCasts). I can't tell if this is growing pains or if it is just a decision to do the bare minimum.

Unfortunately, Lexy went out of business a couple of weeks ago. We are still working with the former host of our LexyCasts, Todd Lafferty, to find a new home for those quick-hitting podcasts. The link is still on the front page because we anticipate re-starting the podcasts with Todd once he has a new venue for them to run within. MW

 In every walk of life people make mistakes. This was an obvious misfire using 2010 data instead of 2011. Some of you need to lighten up Francis.

We screwed this up. The process is tricky in that it starts from my csv file then heads to Doug Drinen who makes it work for mobile. I then copy the mobile piece to rebuild for the web and also the Draftlists. Somehow in this process Doug is not pointing to the right 2011 data (This was 2010's data). We shall have this fixed later tonight, but I am heading out for a bit this second (and can't fix until Doug does his part).

I am not trying to just complain. I am trying to help, but what about the sneak peak for the iPhone app in April 2010, still front page news? There is a blank dead link below that.Articles-->Training Camps just goes to a dead end. This is just looking around the front page for 5 minutes.

Articles-->Training Camps just goes to a dead end.

This is just looking around the front page for 5 minutes.
Training camp(s) hasn't/haven't opened yet. There are no training camp articles as a result. Everyone who covers the NFL is struggling this preseason due to the first labor strife in the league in over 2 decades. We are doing our best to be responsive to the developments as they happen, but nobody on staff (or in the general public) can pretend that this is a 'normal' NFL preseason. NONE of the rookies have signed contracts. NONE of the free agents have gone through the process of being courted by other teams. NONE of the potential free agents - guys on the bubble of free agency depending on the new CBA guidelines - are known (all this is dependent on the guidelines of the yet-to-be-negotiated rules for free agency in 2011- and beyond).

I understand that all NFL fans feel frustrated right now - I know that I am. However, I would suggest that being upset because there is no link to training camp articles before any training camps have opened is going overboard.

I appreciate the quick responses guys - and was not just randomly complaining. It is becoming more and more of a competitive market for the kinds of service that you provide, and I was simply letting you know that I hold you, your work and your customer service in high esteem, but with that also comes high expectations.

Sorry if that comes across as heavy handed - though I do admit that I can certainly be impatient.

It could have something to do with the fact that I am drafting right now and this information would be very useful for me, as again i respect and look forward to your content all year long.

You are right, it should have been right the first time. We are working to correct the problem right now. Thanks for your business.Mark

That's a valid point, and I agree with you. I wasn't trying to specifically focus on training camps; I just wanted to convey that, since the redesign, it is not a surprise to click on a link and for it to be dead/outdated. To that point though, take the link down. Deleting that line of code from the page is quicker than typing of your reply to me. A "sneak preview" on the main section of your primary site from April 2010 makes it look stale; dead links add to that.Don't take this as a complaint about FBG. I have been a subscriber longer than most, and I feel it is worth every penny. You guys provide in depth and timely information; what I am saying is your front page doesn't reflect that since the redesign. What you do best is up to the minute information to help your subscribers.

I have a list I am working from to get all the links right by this weekend. Top 300s and Draftlists are the last things I wanted to get done before I got the website in order (since those are relevent links as well). Everything should be in order soon. I will create a coming soon link, etc so any dead links are gone.

Thanks for the constructive criticism. I'm sure that David and the other IT/architecture gurus will work to resolve design/architecture issues for 2011 as soon as conditions in the actual NFL permit. MW

Thanks Battlestar. No disagreement with you there at all - it should have been right. Apologies. David will get it right here quickly and hopefully we get things rolling more smoothly. And thanks for being a part of Footballguys - we appreciate it.J

One interesting observation on Dodds positional rankings (on the 300 list) is that Dodds ranks the majority of QBs below their ADP consistently (noted by the - diff value). It appears that Dodds is downgrading the QB position across the board relative to their ADP (except for a small handful of QBs like Tebow and Fitzpatrick). Drafters should keep this bias in mind when interpreting the data.
