Arizona has a horrible offense, but I'd put the Raiders ahead of them. Green Bay could be making a push for the top 5 soon, I'm surprised you have the Pats up there, but I agree that they're top 5 even though they haven't played like it.

I would have GB in the top 5 for sure. Destroyed Houston, should have beat Seattle, beat Chicago.
Not sure destroying Houston is that big of a deal, maybe I should have moved them down further.
It is if you have Houston as n.5
I switched 'em
 AJ doesn't look as explosive as in the past, and eventually their lack of explosiveness on offense will slow them down in the playoffs and losing Cushing hurts. I know that I wouldn't want to play Brady or Rodgers in the playoffs.

Not sure I agree with NE being in the top 5 MOP. They just have not dominated. I would probably consider SF or HOU and move GB up to 4.

My view for top 5:

[*]Atlanta

[*]Green Bay

[*]Houston

[*]Chicago

[*]NY Giants

As for the worst... surprised CLE isn't in there???? I would replace ARI with CLE. ARI's defense alone should keep them out of the bottom 5.

My view for the bottom of the barrel:

[*]Jacksonville

[*]Carolina

[*]Kansas City

[*]Oakland

[*]Cleveland

Cleveland tries hard, their fans suffer the most, I'm not piling on right now. That's not the Browns, that's an expansion team that never got off the ground.

For me:HoustonSFNYGAtlantaNew England
There we go, others should post up their top 5 bottom 5
Top 51. Giants(defending champs and Eli is clutch, defense isn't great but good enough to win)2. Packers(slow start and some questions on defense, but they still have a great offense that will only get better with Jennings)3. Patriots(Haven't played up to their potential yet, but they have a solid run defense and a great offense, pass defense is a problem)4. Falcons(Undefeated even though they have struggled lately, run defense is still a problem and Ryan has yet to win a playoff game)5. Niners(Almost went CHI here but I'm not a Cutler fan at all in big games, Niners still have a great defense, but offensive issues)Bottom 51. Jaguars2. Chiefs3. Raiders4. Panthers5. Titans

Top five

Ny Giants 5-2

CHI Bears 4-1

ATL falcons 6-0

HOU Texans 6-1

DEN Broncos 3-3
Or a team with a .500 record in the top 5 ;) Arizona won their first 4 games, they might drop 7-8 in a row, already dropped a quick 3.

Glad I'm not the only one
The team is a disaster. Top two backs on IR, the starting backup QB out at least 6 weeks, the backup backup QB blows, the O-Line is a mess... the ONLY thing they have going is a solid D.Edit:

My placements of the Jags at #1 factors in the fact that both Gabbert and MJD are now hurt.

With Skelton, you have a strong argument. With Kolb, I don't think they're in the conversation.

1 Giants

2 Falcons

3 Bears

4 49ers

5 Packers

28 Cards

29 Raiders

30 Panthers

31 Browns

32 Jags

Curious, what is it about GB, in your opinion, that elevates them ahead of Houston and Atlanta?
The Packers destroyed Houston in Houston on a Monday nighter (probably the most impressive performance by any team so far this year), so they're easily on top of the Texans imo. As for the Falcons, they've had one of the easier schedules in the league so far, and they just barely beat the Panthers and Raiders at home, 2 of the worst teams in the league. As for the Packers, I think Rodgers is the best player in the league right now, so when he's on his game like he has been the past couple weeks and their defense plays competently I think they're the best team in the league.

Sunday IIRC...not that it matters

You're right, my bad.

The packers also lost to the Colts, have allowed 20 or more in four out of six games, and scored a whopping 12 points against Seattle allowing the Seahawks to take advantage of a close game. I know GB put a beatdown on Houston but imo the Texans are playing better football overall and their head-to-head look more like an outlier than a true representation of the quality of the two team.

I appreciate the sentiment, but really?
IE is serious business
I gathered. :fishing:
 They've played no one so far and looked bad doing it. They're not the same team they've been for the past decade. I think, among other issues this team has, the two SB losses have really affected Brady's psyche.

BTW, the AFC is pathetic this year. Ravens are in a tailspin, Stillers are just not good, and New England has terrible DBs. Lot of bad teams over there.

I'd agree that the Texans have played better over the entirety of the season, but the Packers have really picked up their play these last 2 weeks and if there was a game next Sunday on a neutral field I think the Packers would beat the Texans, or any other team for that matter. And the fact that the defense isn't fantastic doesn't necessarily matter if the Packers offense is putting up 30+. If the Packers defense can keep their opponents at around 21-24 points the Packers will win the game more often than not.

As a Bills/Ravens fan all I can say is...Yup :(
Maddening loss for the Bills today. Worst run D by a long ways, but Fitz cost them the game with that awful throw with 3 minutes left. Really like their other skill position players, but dayum that defense sucks bad.Jets are a bad team with major injuries but they played tough today. Giants got lucky today but good teams find a way to close it out.
