How do you bump Holt UP this year in view of Martz's departure?

That team threw the ball more than anyone, and those extra pass plays have always helped Holt's stats. With someone other than Martz there, the team simply has to pass less (they certainly can't pass more, and just about any play caller in the NFL is more conservative than Martz, most by a long way). Less passing plays = decreased stats for Holt.

I've bumped him down in all of my rankings this year. I think he is a great SELL HIGH candidate.

Even though everyone disagreed with me at the time, turns out this looks like a pretty good posting.

Do we really need to bump one of your "Chris Perry is about to be a top 5 RB" post?

Holt is still ranked 7th in my league, less then 2 points per game behind the leader. How far down did you bump him.

He's WR11 in my main league. I probably wouldn't have bumped him down that far. That said, if you got WR1 or WR2 value for him in August, you did pretty well based on his current value/performance.

Feel free. I'm pretty sure I never said he was about to be a top 5 RB. I still think he has the talent to be a top 5 back, but I've also said he obviously needs to beat the injury bug first (which he didn't do this year, obviously). Not sure what the proves.

Have you posted any helpful projections?

but what's his rank since STL's bye in week 7. holt's numbers week 8 - 12 = 26 rec for 269 yards or a 5-54 average. certainly doesn't = a top 15 performance.

He was the #1 WR thru week 6. Things fell off after the bye week. I traded him in one dynasty in week 5 as a sell high and I'm now thinking it may be time to try and buy him back low.

By the way, he's also WR11 in standard scoring, on a season-total basis and points-per-game basis.

Ok, so he was (according to most in this thread) the consensus WR1 or WR2 on August 15, and you traded him when he was WR1 in week 5. I don't really understand the difference here. In either case, if you got fair value for him at either point, it should be substantially more than someone would give for him now.
