Total Redraft W/ Live Auction Draft needs Owners (1 Viewer)

Hey Folks,

Now that Myfantasyleague.com has it setup to where we can do live auctions, I have created a new total redraft league that will use a Live Auction Draft. The name of the league is The Phoenix Live Auction League. The live auction draft is tentatively set for August 7th. I will wait until the league is full before we set a definite date.

If you've never done a live auction draft before, they are a blast. Instead of waiting 8 or 10 or 12 hours to see if your bid wins you the player, you'll find out in a couple of minutes. Only 1 player is put up at a time and we all bid on that player until someone wins him. It's a LOT of fun and the auction draft shouldn't take more then a couple of hours to do. Maybe less if everyone pays attention and we move along at a good pace.

Anyway, here are some particulars about the league.

* League fee is $50. All league fees minus the site fee of $60 are paid out.

* 12 teams

* 16 player rosters

* Starting lineups include 1 QB, 1-2 RB's, 2-4 WR's, 0-1 TE's, 1 K and 1 Def

* Waivers run 3 times a week. Regular waivers run from 1:15 on Sunday until 10 pm on Wed. Then they run again from 10:15 pm on Wed until 1 Pm on Sat. FCFS Waivers run from 1:15 pm on Sat until 1 pm on Sunday.

* Trading is allowed up until the completion of the week 11 games.

* The top 6 teams make the regular playoffs. Playoffs are also H2H.

As of right now, I have 5 owners. I need 7 more owners for this league to take off. I "might" do the league with 10 teams, but that would have to be approved by those 10 owners.

If you've never done a live auction draft before, it's fast paced and a LOT of fun.

And keep in mind, unlike a regular draft, in a live auction draft, you have a chance at EVERY player out there. Whether you will win those players or not is up to you and how much money you spend on each player, but you do have a chance at every one of them.
