Trade advice...
Usual Roto league except no WHIP category... 12 teams / mixed
Starting all positions (3OF) + IF + Util (any)... 5SP + 2RP...
My team:
C: Mauer / Varitek;
1B: Overbay / Kotchman;
2B: Cano;
SS: Tejada;
3B: ARod;
IFs (FSanchez / CTracy / KGreene);
OFs: Hunter / Rowand / CB Young / Cameron;
SP: Smoltz / Schilling / Hunter / Buerhle / Meche (Carpenter on DL);
RP: Wagner / Fuentes / Gagne
Doing real well in all offensive categories (10-10-11-2-10) except for SBs... while pitching isn't going so well (with Carpenter on DL all year) (1W-5Sv-2Ks-5ERA)
I'm been looking at trade possibilities - sending a RP in order to get a 6th SP to be able to rotate them around (weekly lineups) in case of 2start weeks...
I was offered this...
I get: HMatsui + BPenny
I give: THunter + EGagne
Looking at his team... the only other interesting players I see are Beltran and Ichiro... is the first deal interesting or should I try and counter-offer with Beltran or Ichiro instead of Matsui? (don't want the other guy to step back if I counter and miss on the 1st offer if it's interesting)...
Thoughts?
