Trade and waiver Advice please - Edelman for Cobb? (1 Viewer)

This is a 14team, full ppr league.  Short benches, but not a ton on waivers.  I am currently in 2nd place overall, and roster is:

Winston/Mariota

Bell+DWill/L.Miller/L.Murray/Dixon

Crabtree/Cobb/T.Williams (Dallas)/Lockett/Floyd

Bennett/Ertz

1. I got an offer yesterday of Edelman for Cobb.  Normally, I would have done that instantly, but don't really have the depth if I get it wrong.  I would much rather have a piece of NE offense this year vs. GBs, but Edelman has been a no-show and I do have Bennett.  Would you take that offer?  I am over thinking this one?

2.  Not a ton on waivers, but didn't know if you guys are giving up on the likes of L.Murray, Lockett, Floyd, etc..    Right now the people that are on waivers that stick out are:

Gillislee

K.Britt, Thielen, Montgomery, LaFell/Boyd, Perriman

Anything I should think about picking up for a boost, or just stick to what I have?

Edelman for Cobb is fair, if you prefer a Patriot over a Packer then nothing wrong with that trade.  They should be pretty equal all year long. Neither is doing anything right now, but I'd rather have Edelman personally just because Brady is playing much better than Rodgers right now.

I wouldn't drop anyone else that you have for that WW fodder.  Hold tight.  L. Murray might have lost his job for good, but Gillislee is nothing but a handcuff at this point. He'll vulture a TD here and there but it's impossible to predict, and even those games he's only getting you 6.3 points.  LaFell intrigues a little just because the Bengals seem determined to use him but I wouldn't take him over your current guys.

I wouldn't have a problem dropping Lockett or Floyd and picking up Britt.  He has been a high floor guy with about 70 yds for the past few weeks.  Floyd & Lockett are essentially useless at this point.

As for Edelmen vs Cobb......I would also rather have Edelmen.  Better offense and he will be back.  I am a little worried about GB.
