Trade Buchholz for King Felix? (1 Viewer)

BoomBoom

Footballguy
Had our auction draft last night, and I was able to snag Clay Buchholz at the end for $1 (10 teams, $260 cap, 5x5 roto).

I left some money on the table (not by design), and the Red Sox homer in my league has offered King Felix ($15) straight up for Buccholz.

Rest of my starting staff:

Johan Santana, Chien-Ming Wang, Oliver Perez, Randy Johnson, Clay Buchholz

As you can see, I went with the Santana plus cheap rest of the staff method.

I know Buchholz was pretty good in limited time last year, and from what I've read, he'll probably cap out around 150 IP this year.

Having drafted him, he could potentially be kept in 2009 AND 2010 for $1. My offense is enough to carry my sqaud in the hitting (last year I netted 48 of 50 total offensive points), and I've won the league each of the past two years. Torn between playing for this year as I think Felix would be a nice boost, but long-term Buchholz at $1 might be a steal.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

I've only glanced at their baseballcube stats, but I think Bucholz clearly has the higher upside, I think I'd pull the trigger...

Thanks for the feedback...

Trying to trade with co-owners can be frustrating, because one guy wants to do the deal, and the other guy wants to keep Felix.

They already have Harang, Beckett, DiceK, Rich Hill, Burnett, and Blanton so I'm putting it out there that they don't need someone like Felix at this point and having a sleeper like Buchholz could pay off down the road in future seasons.

Will let you guys know how it shakes out.
