Trade for ARodgers? (1 Viewer)

10 team dynasty Superflex, 43 man rosters, start 11. I’ve got ARodgers valued at about an earlier third. He’s on the block. I was going to offer an early 2026 third for him, but before I could, the manager said he’d take JK Dobbins for him. Purdy has me a bit worried about QB depth (I have Dak, Purdy and Kyler) It seems the values are all about the same, would you recommend I:
1.Stand pat
2. Give Dobbins for ARod
3. Give the 2026 third for ARod

My RB’s are Jeanty, Hampton, Judkins, Kamara, Conner, Dobbins, BAllen, Giddens

I’m leaning parting with Dobbins to get Rodgers and keeping the pick.

We would be willing to give up the third round pick for Aaron Rodgers to secure that QB3 spot on your roster. He did look great in week one.

However, we have JK Dobbins ranked ahead of Rodgers, as he seems to be an involved piece of the Denver offense.

A follow up that distilled down asks how you compare a now starting Mac Jones to Aaron Rodgers. I was just able to grab Mac Jones off of waivers to pair with my Purdy. Assuming Jones starts the next couple weeks (2 to 5 weeks estimate just came out) then Purdy/Jones/Rodgers would be my QB3 behind Dak and Kyler. Would you recommend investing the 2026 3rd (or Dobbins with the new Purdy info) in Rodgers or just roll with Jones at the QB3 till Purdy gets back and save the capital?

Great question @chadgorick. Last season, Mac Jones took over in Week 10. From then to Week 18, he was the QB23. Not great, but not terrible as your 3. He got better after a late bye and was the QB16 from Week 14 to 18. In San Fran, he'll be in a better offense with better weapons. So, he will be suitable as your 3 yet again. That said, Rodgers was better than him in all those splits last year. Since this is your 3, and Dak / Murray should be fine, I'd say hold and save the capital.
