Trade for Burrow? (1 Viewer)

For next year only, would you trade for Burrow in a SFlex league? I am out of this year, but have Bowers and Penix who I think can get Burrow. Or is he just too brittle to be someone to count on?

I stripped my team down to Gibbs, BTJ and Bowers for next, will likely only keep Gibbs in order to secure first pick in a keeper league. BTJ might be over already. Should maybe move him instead/too.

But it all comes back to Burrow. 17 games he's probably top 3-5 QB, but 5, 7, 8 games, he isnt worth losing Bowers IMO, who, seems to be injured or banged up a lot too. IDC about Penix for next year.

How many keepers? How many QB's available year to year? Is it TE premium? Need this info to answer completely. In general I wouldn't worry about the injuries and if it's not a TE premium league then I would look to make the move.

14 teams can keep 8, most keep at least 1 qb, if not 2. If I only keep Gibbs i will have the first overall pick next, if I get Burrow too, i still might have first overall pick.

Threw the same offer at the Nix owner. Would love to have 1 good QB going into next year.

I am very confused. Teams can keep 8 players but you are only keeping one player? That seems like a terrible idea. What is the draft order based on?

depends on how many players you keep, so when I keep 1, i will get 7 picks before anyone who keeps 8 players gets to pick.

Its the only way to rebuild a team in this league, keeper league last 3 seasons. So after next year, everyone goes back in the pot.

If I keep the decent guys i had this year, for next year, I still wont have or get a qb. And stuck right back in the same position I am now.
plus its more fun and losing by 40 pts a week while actually trying, now i can sit back and not care, tend to my other leagues more.

Its a weird league setup, position limits, can only have X number of RBs at 21 rds. Its been like this since the late 90s.

I guess since it starts over after next year go ahead and get Burrow. No reason to worry about longevity or anything else. Not sure if not keeping guys makes sense in your situation (league starting over after next year) because it's not like you can hit on rookies that will be keepers for years to come. I am sure some of your keeper decisions will be better than the 95th best player (assuming most of the 14 teams keep close to 8 players each).

Its year to year, this year 3 teams kept 1 player, 3 teams kept 8 and the rest were in between.
If I have Burrow and Gibbs going into the draft, either I take best veteran QB.RB.WR or I would be looking at Jeremiah Love and Mendoza or Moore if they were to go pro.
Either way to have all my picks wrapped up by round 13 or so, out of 21 rounds, I should get good defensive players, and would likely have much better QBs than the last 2 years.
I screwed up the 3 yr cycle taking Richardson as my QB1 at the beginning. Awful choice by me.
