My team:

RB: Booker, Ingram, R. Mathews, Dwayne Washington, R. Kelley, Jennings

WR: AJ Green, Hopkins, John Brown, Diggs, Ty Montgomery

The trade:

I sent Diggs and Brown and receive Landry.

What say you? This is .5 PPR.

I decided not to do it. My commish (who incidentally is my trade partner) alerted me that I could play Montgomery at RB, and given the match-ups this week (and I really need a win) I'm going to use Montgomery as my RB2, and go with Diggs at Flex. Long-term, this could be a bit of a mistake, but I really need to get back to .500 and I think this presents the best way to do it.

but if you made the deal wouldn't Landry be moving into Diggs spot anyway?  I don't see where Montgomery playing RB has any bearing on whether to accept or not accept the trade.  Montgomery being able to play RB just gives you more options.

Landry is on a BYE this week, and my focus is on getting a win now.

Ah.  I was thinking for your normal every day lineup.  I get it for this week but see if he would wait a week to pull the trigger then do it.

Yeah, we're going to re-visit it this evening after he makes Ty Montgomery RB eligible. I might just bite the bullet and play Mathews as my RB2 and use Montgomery in my flex spot, and make the trade.

I am a Viking fan so I watch every snap of their games.  Diggs is fools gold in my opinion.  He jumped out hot last year so the perception of him was actually better than reality as the season wore down.  Don't get me wrong he is a quality WR and I love his skills for the Vikings.  Unfortunately a lot of the Vikings offense doesn't translate to fantasy usefulness.  Diggs did the same thing this year were he jumped out with some strong games out of the gate which elevated his perceived value and lately he has tapered off....although some of that is due to the injury.  Bottom line is the Vikings just aren't a fantasy friendly offense for the most part.  I would much rather have Landry ROS than Diggs.
