Trade FOR Tyreek Hill?? (1 Viewer)

Have an owner in our non-PPR 12 team league who will be 0-3 after this week and has put Tyreek on the trade block. I'm thinking of a lowball offer, given his apparent panic, of Rashid Shaheed. His only decent players are Harrison Jr. and Jalen Hurts (plus Chubb on bench). Thoughts on if this is too low of a lowball offer or should I offer another player or package? My roster is below, and I'm always playing the long game in fantasy football since we are all essentially just trying to make it in for weeks 15-17... Thanks for the feedback.

QB Dak Prescott
RB Derrick Henry
Jordan Mason
Bijan Robinson
David Montgomery
Jaylen Warren
Chase Brown
Gus Edwards
WR Davante Adams
Chris Godwin
Jaylen Waddle
Rashid Shaheed
TE Dalton Kincaid
DEF Browns
K Jake Bates

Since you already have Waddle I wouldn't double up on that mess by adding Tyreek. As far as your offer goes, I doubt Shaheed will move the needle after his zero catch day. That kind of brings to the forefront what his experience is like. If he doesn't get a long TD he might get nothing. Boom/bust by definition.

kinda rude to lowball him like that, I think he'll reject anyways. You are pretty loaded at RB though so give him like Monty and Shaheed

The other team's roster has:
QB Jalen Hurts
RB D'Andre Swift
Jerome Ford
Raheem Mostert
Nick Chubb
Braelon Allen
WR Michael Pittman
Marvin Harrison Jr
Tyreek Hill
Christian Kirk
Jordan Addison
TE Isaiah Likely
TJ Hockenson
DEF Buccaneers
K Justin Tucker

Having Waddle already I don't think I would even do this with the mess that Miami is. I might try and craft a deal around Waddle and a lesser RB as that probably is a better idea. Waddle, Warren & Chase? Although that really isn't great either if I am the Tyreek owner. I just don't think it's a good match

I think the dolphins will be better once they (I assume) turn it over to Huntly. I don't really blame Dello for wanting to buy low but as you point out the offers with backup RBs aren't exactly fair either. I understand Dello's reluctance for not wanting to part with any of Henry, Mason, Robinson, or Montgomery but I just don't think Shaheed straight up or Shaheed + backup RB is being fair to the Hill owner but he'll likely reject anyways.

He reached out and wants Davante and Monty for Tyreek. I feel that is an overpay given the uncertainty. I'm wondering if I should pull the trigger if he'll do Davante straight up...

Where do I sign up for your "I hate Hill" club?
If you are referring to me (since I seem to be the only one stating I wouldn't go after Hill), I don't hate him at all. I would like to have him on my team in many cases. But for me with this roster I don't think it is a good idea to pay what the other guy wants for Hill when you already have Waddle being depreciated by the QB situation in Miami. I just don't think it makes sense from a roster construction view.
