Trade Nico for MHJ? (1 Viewer)

In the team below, one of my league-mates is interesting in trading for Nico Collins. He has MHJ and all of his future draft picks through 2028 - what package could I build around Nico for MHJ + draft picks? Or is Nico for MHJ straight up fair?

My team is pretty young (outside of my QBs) and is probably middle-of-the-pack after a good draft. So this trade would age me down at WR 3 years and get a player that has potential to be a WR1 over the coming years.

Funny how the other manager wouldn't have even considered this a year ago. MHJ has certainly dipped in value. It's a fair enough swap. We do have Nico slightly ahead in our dynasty trade values. Probably ask for a 2nd, and be ready when they counter with a 3rd. But the real question is: should you move Nico? Your team seems pretty solid, though Pitts at TE isn't doing you any favors. Does the other team have a TE they can spare? The possible falloff from Nico to MHJ this year could be offset with a more trustworthy TE. Even if not, I think you make the deal and try for a pick. MHJ could easily beat Nico, and the age difference could set you up nicely.

Hey @schneppt we'd hold off on this. Odunze is in a crowded WR room and feel like he doesn't match up well with the value you'd be losing from trading Nico.

As someone who projects Odunze to become the No. 1 in CHI sooner rather than later, I'd absolutely do that. Wouldn't hurt to counter with Odunze + 1st + 2nd to test the waters though.

I'm with @Jake Bryant here. I would want a bit more for Nico on a contending team. I see @Meng 's point though. If you believe in Odunze, ask for even more picks and it's a win-win.
