10 team dynasty ppr, 21 spots roster, 2/2/2/1/2/1/1 format

they're offering Carlos Hyde for the 1.10 + Adrian Peterson.  which side would you take and why? counteroffer ideas? he has the 1.05

my roster:

QB: Luck, Tanehill, Goff, Hundley

RB: Gurley, Adrian P, Gio, Hill, Dion Lewis

WR: OBJ, Evans, Jordy, Hopkins, Alshon, Watkins, Doctson, Treadwell

TE: Kelce, Eifert

DEF: SEA

PK: S. Gostkowski

I wouldn't give AP and the 1.10 for Hyde. I would rather find someone that needs a wr and flip one of those for a rb.

I'd do both. Take the Hyde deal, and flip a WR.

I think Hyde is a nice buy low right now. Talented guy but with injury concerns and maybe not a good fit in the SF offense. He performed really well on a bad team and is a free agent at the end of the year. Going to just about any other team would be an upgrade.

Peterson's old and has a bunch of competition. 1.10 will land Njoku, Hunt, Engram, Perine or Kamara. Ok prospects but nowhere near the dynasty value of Hyde.

You could probably use another RB besides Hyde and are stacked a WR. Moving Jordy or Alshon for a RB like Howard, Ajayi or Shady would be wise.

I am not a huge fan of Hyde but I think the price is right in this deal.  AP is likely to be just another RB this year with a big game or two but nothing that screams must start.  Too many RB's and having been an Ingram owner the past couple years it is very frustrating because Payton rotates backs seemingly randomly at times.

As other's have said, you also have an embarrassment of riches at WR and should leverage that to help at another position....like RB

I would take it.  Peterson is done in my book and is now in a crowded backfield in NO.  I also would do what others have suggested...put all your WRs not named OBJ and Evans on the block and see what kind of RB you can get.

I don't get it guys. An oft-injured rb that may not be in the new staffs plans for a guy who will likely score about the same and a draft pick that could outscore both. Perine or hunt this year could outscore AP and hyde. I don't think I'd give the 1.10 for hyde to be honest. I'd rather take a shot at one of the rooks

I'd stand pat, and I like Hyde.  I just think you could do well this year, and AP probably has 1 more year in him.  Also, pick 10 is going to be a very solid player, maybe counter for AP and your 2nd?  If he's trying to sell Hyde, he might be willing to take pennies on the dollar with all the bad news around.
