I am doing very well in hitting but need some pitching help. I am being offered Wieters and Carpenter for Pablo Sandoval.

So, since I'm in need of pitching help, I am considering this trade. Would you make this trade? If I do, I would drop O Hudson.

In a 7-team league I really don't see how Carpenter is going to dramatically improve your pitching enough to matter. Meanwhile Sandoval is light year's better of an offensive option at C than Wieters right now [different were this a keeper league]. I'm not sure I make this move.

Yeah, I hear ya. In W, 4 wins separate 2nd thru 7th place (I'm 7th right now). There are just a few Ks separating everyone. I could use the ERA and WHIP help, but you're right about Carpenter not providing that much of a difference. I'll wait this out and see if I can move up with a little luck. Thanks for the input.

Assuming you don't have an innings cap, I would probably do it. Weiters will hopefully get better and Carpenter is a good hedge against EJax and Duke falling flat on their faces in the 2nd half.
