Trade Smith for Ryan? (1 Viewer)

I just traded for Julio and I'm thinking Julio and Matt Ryan will hit their strides.  I currently have Mariota who I have been starting over Alex Smith when he has been healthy.  Do you think trading away Smith for Ryan now would be a sell high/buy low situation, or is it just a pointless trade?  Opinions appreciated.

Eh, I'd do it. Matt Ryan won't be MVP Matt ryan but I think he has higher upside ROS than Alex Smith. But maybe we're all just biased towards Alex Smith since this is the first year he's done something...

You are banking on a turnaround versus a hot player. Before last season Ryan was a QB2 level guy. I think he is simply reverting to his mean average this year. I'd stick with Smith.
