I think the White Sox win on this deal. Neither DLS nor Gonzalez are blue chip guys although DLS has a chance to be one. Meanwhile the Sox get a 27 year-old OPS hog with a great contract through 2011.

BB is the man and Kenny's moves usually turn out very well or very poorly; I don't think this will be any different except for who wins on it.
