Trades before veto process (1 Viewer)

Has anyone ever run into this problem?

Two teams agree on a trade. Everyone in the league agrees the trade is fair. There is a veto process, but nobody vetoes it. The website the league is on has a full one day clause for trades to go through. The commissioner has the power to put the trade through. Should he do it or wait until the full one day goes by, even though players in the trade will still be on their first team?

I ask because players in tomorrow nights game were involved and some owners think it shouldn't be put through. Thoughts?

I think a commish should always put trades through when they're obviously fair, and it's poorly run leagues that let trades go through an owner vote.

In my league I indicate I will process trades ASAP but owners need to allow for the 1 day processing time. In other words, if you agree to a trade on Sunday morning and I am at my Aunt's birthday brunch, they're out of luck.

I agree with you guys on the voting process. But there is, and if everyone agrees it's fair, do you think there's an issue putting a trade through rather than waiting another week?

No. Rules say wait so you wait. Owners knew the rule ,they need to wait. Can of worms if you deviate.
