The Mods have said this type of thread is OK, as long as it does not turn into an ACF-type of thread, soliciting advice. This is for people who are thinking about making moves to get an idea of what their players are going for in other leagues, so as to guage the marketplace and make a more informed decision.
So...
I just traded (against my homerism and better judgement)
Clinton Portis and Chad Johnson
for
W McGahee, R Bush and T Glenn.
I was going to give Chad one more week before pulling the trigger on a "sell low", but as of now, I am convinced that T Glenn is a more potent WR1. Chad can't even catch TDs against the Bucs right now. Palmer can't even throw them.
I feel like the Saints are hot, MacAllister is starting to look a little "gimpy" and if he can just get a few less carries a game, bush should be a 12-15 point a week guy. I don't want Deuce to get sidelined, though, since he is an important piece of that offense. MacGahee's schedule coming up is sweet against the run, and I kind of think he is a poor mans Portis. I got a major upgrade at 1 RB position, downgrade at 1 RB and a lateral (if not upgrade) at WR.
I would not be surprised to see CJ down quite a bit this week in the Top 250 Forward, and Bush up a few spots. Same with WM.
Portis is a stud, and I hate to see him go, but, with L Jordan sucking so bad My RBs this week were Portis, MBIII and Norwood. Not bad this week, but it's not going to cut it in the long run.
