How do you guys measure the relative value of draft picks? I'm looking to trade down in the 1st round and am wondering what I could get in return...

Figure out what players you think should be taken with the picks, and then use the players to decide if the trade is worthwhile to you or not.The only time you want to use a trade value chart is when you're too far in advance to be able to work with the players. Like if you're trading 2008 draft picks, you would have to decide to go with what an average years 1.5 player would be like. But if you're trading the 2007 1.5 pick, then plug in the player that you think should go there, which might be more or less valuable than the average you'd have used for 2008.
