As you can see, my RB room is my weakness.

This trade has been offered to me last season before the deadline: I give Ja'Marr Chase, I get Brian Thomas Jr WR JAX and 2025 Pick 1.02. I believe this deal is still available now since the manager has hinted to me about what he is willing to give to get Chase. He's a big Cincy fan, and he's got Burrow too

I currently own the 1.03 and have my 3rd, 4th and 5th (don't have my 2nd anymore). So with the 1.02 and 1.03 I can get the 2nd and 3rd best RB's in the class and still have an up and coming WR.

Will this trade pay the dividends I am hoping it will? Or is it better to hold onto Ja'Marr and keep trying to bulid around him.

Chase Brown, Ray Davis, JK Dobbins, Breece Hall, Najee Harris, Kimani Vidal

His remaining picks are 2.09, 3.05, 3.09, 4.09 and 5.09. What do you think, maybe go after one of his 3rd rounders or maybe his late 2nd? He still has all of his future 2026 picks too.

I would go after Ray Davis and the 2nd added to thr deal. Chase is an elite dynasty asset. Maybe the top asset.

Or ask for Breece and Thomas and a 2nd and let him keep the 1.02

Don't be afraid to shop Chase around to other teams. Why not shoot for an established RB rather than draft picks?
In any case, I probably hang onto Chase unless I'm blown away. The current offer is bottom of the acceptable range. You dont really benefit from the deal.

Ja'Marr Chase is elite of elite. I like Brian Thomas Jr.. I believe he's just elite for now. I don't love the 1.02 pick in this draft.
This is a lateral move for you. You can simply draft a RB at whatever pick you have.
Chase could play 6yrs at a very high level. BTJ maybe we like what we're seeing but he's still a tier or two down AND less favorable OFF/Team.
Even if you get Hall. That's an upgrade but RB4-6 for 2-4 years? What's Hall done? What's NYJ done? He's a 3 down RB but 13 carries a game and 4-5 targets for mediocre to decent production. His value is dropping. He was the #2 dynasty ranked behind Bijan Jeanty, Saquon seems like they're already up there based on productivity despite age.

My point is that I think you have options. Your guy could step up.
