I had the #4 pick in my draft tonight and was actually deciding between LJ, Gore and Addai. I couldn't make up my mind so was trying to trade down in the last hour before the draft. I am in a 2 QB league (with scoring slightly favorable for QB's) and was targeting Brees with my 2nd round pick and wanted to trade up a bit in the 2nd to do so. I have Maroney as a keeper (7th round or later pick from previous year). I could afford to go QB in the second round in that type of league.
As it turned out Tomlinson, Manning and LJ went 1-3. I struck a gold mine IMO with S Jackson at the #4 slot. Not only did I get Jackson but Palmer ended up at my pick at #17. It worked out real well for me to stay put. I could have had a Gore, Brees, Maroney draft but instead got Jackson, Palmer Maroney. Not bad.
