Training camp is just around the corner (1 Viewer)

I'm mainly looking to see who will win the RB battles. I'll be keeping a close eye on:

1) Bills RB situation- Will this be a pure committee? What happens with Lynch?

2) Raiders RB situation - Who wins the job between McFadden and Bush?

3) Houston RB situation - Is Slaton healthy? If so, does he regain his starting job?

4) Cleveland RB situation - Does the rookie overtake the vet?

5) Seattle RB situation - Can Forsett emerge as the clearcut #1?

I'd add the Bears RB situation, the Giants WR situation, how Ronnie is looking in full contact in Miami, and especially what happens at QB in Arizona. All yours are good ones to watch.

I'm very interested in the Bears passing game. All phases of it are in question. Cutler may or may not take to Martz's system. Any of the wideouts could emerge. Who will be the primary ball carrier? Will Olsen be a part of the equation or an afterthought?

The Bills and Fins RB situation is something I'll be looking hard at. Also, I agree with Sabertooth, the Bears could be very interesting depending how Cutler takes to Martz's system.

Whether Wes Welker starts on the preseason PUP list or not. If he's not on the list, he can't be placed on the regular season PUP list and won't be forced to miss the first 6 games.

I've got my eyes on some WRs and QBs...

WRs

- Will Garcon emerge in Indy or be part of a committe w/ Collie and Gonzo?

- Is D.Bowe going to be dedicated in shape after Fitz's camp?

- If Welker is on PUP, how is Edelman being used? If a poor man's Welker than there could be early season value there but if not a clear role then he is worthless.

- Dez. I don't think Roy is going down without a fight so if they share it will hurt is redraft value.

- M. Williams (TB) - Can he translate the impressive OTA performances into a meaningful role?

- C. Schilens - Will he finally emerge now that he has overcome injury and has a legit QB?

QBs

- Kolb. When Aaron Rodgers took over in GB, you could see he was ready in preseason games. Watching Kolb for same confidence level

- McNabb. Anything left in the tank? How quickly can he assimilate Shanny's offense? ADP of 86 could be attractive in a QBBC.

- Palmer. Washed up or will new toys result in a comeback?

For IDP

What will the LB situation look like with Thomas Davis out for the year again.

Who will be the starting SS for Detroit and Buffalo

I'll be watching the Redskins WR situation.

Does McNabb/Shanahan (McNabbahan?) elevate the passing offense enough to make Moss/Thomas/Kelly worth getting excited about?

Is the Moss the guy? Or do Thomas/Kelly look poised to take over?

Is this passing offense going to produce a 80/1000/9 type of WR? Or will it be a bunch of 60/750/6 guys?

 I think I'd rather watch paint dry that that. Kelly probably won't even make the team. He blows. Cooley and Davis are McNabb's best hope. Other than the obvious rookies, I'm going to watch rookie FA WR Brandyn Harvey's progress in Atlanta.

Reports say Harry Douglas has not been medically clear yet. If he is cleared I really want to see what he can do after the injury. I really liked him coming out of Louisville.

I am sorry I made you feel sick . . .

--The Saints backfield and how involved Lynell becomes. If he doesn't come close to assuming Mike Bell's role, then PT could have a huge year.

--Buffalo backfield

--Wes Welker

--Owen Daniels recovery

--Does Sidney Rice take part or is there more to the hip

--The Dallas backfield - Is Felix the next top 10 RB?

--Does Portis's value shoot back up when he's the clear starter?

If I had to pick one team: the Bears.

Chester Taylor being added to the RB mix. Will he be a true backup? a true platoon? somewhere in between?

With Martz, all the WRs potentially become more valuable, but who/how much/etc. The Devins and Knox are all 3 guys I could be potentially interested in at the right spot with the right info.

And how useless will G-Reg be?

I've heard consistently that Beason moves to take over the weakside spot and Dan Connor starts in the middle.

ThisETA: As well as Chad Henne in Miami. I think he is primed to really emerge this season. Big time.

That's what I think is expected from writers and FF world for the most part. I just wonder if they saw T. Davis having problems with rehab and acquired Jamar Williams from the Bears for a reason. Connor has not been what they expected, so they may give him the shot in Training camp, but if Beason doesn't transition well and Connor continues to disappoint, Jammar Williams will be the huge WW LB pick up this year.

From an overall perspective:

-who reports out of shape

-who reports in great shape

-who continues progress from the offseason(OTA's)

-which rookies report on time vs holdouts

-which rookies start off slow(probably won't be FF factors)

-injuries

Will be watching very closely how Thomas Jones looks - did the wheels really start to fall off at the end of last year. May have a big impact on Charles' projections.

Also want to see how Jacobs/Bradshaw look - if one separates from the other, could be sizable value there.

ditto on J Charles

Will there be indications that the offense will revolve around him as the coach stated

will Thomas vulture short yardage td's?
