Travis Beckum (1 Viewer)

Remember when Colston was listed as a TE on MFL? He was a HUGE advantage. There are rumors floating about that Beckum is going to line-up as a WR with all the injuries in NY. Any Giants homers got any info? Anything to see here?

Probably a pipe dream. I need miracles to happen. :goodposting:

You know I am feeling this call. Hagen will get targets and manningham will have to face the other teams top cover corners. I can see a lot of 2 TE sets even if they dont line him up wide

As an Aaron Hernandez owner, I've been digging the barrel for other high upside candidates. Was thinking Boss and/or Beckum could get an increased roll now with all the injuries.

Is Beckum the right call over Kevin Boss?

The Giants have a significant number of plays they can run out of a 2 TE set. They don't have to line Beckum as a WR. It would be worth a shot, why not? But yeah I think this is a pipe dream if you expect significant excessive production

I can't figure out who to gamble with - Kevin Boss or Travis Beckum. Maybe that's a clear sign that I should just stay away.

If given the choice of the two, I would definitely go with Boss. While Beckum will likely see an uptick in his snap count and targets, I don't see him going from a guy who plays sparingly to one that is on the field a ton and taking away looks from Boss. Boss is a capable pass catcher, and I think the team will lean on him more than they needed to with Nicks, Smith and Manningham all in there.
