Trivia Question (1 Viewer)

Prior to Stevie Johnson doing it in 2010-2011, who was the last Buffalo Bills wide receiver to have back to back 1000 yard receiving seasons?

No cheating.

Lee Evans, Peerless Price, Eric Moulds

Edited to add after looking it up: I was wrong on all 3 lol. Great question by the way.

Price was good for half of a year

Moulds was good half the time, every other year.

Evans was good once, then sucked every other year he played.

I was going old school and guessing Jerry Butler.

(Pause for the INCORRECT buzzer)

I knew it wasn't Reed, Evans or Lofton. Wasn't sure about Moulds but I seem to remember him being an every other year guy. I didn't think Butler back in the day was dominant enough to be a 1,000 yard guy but I honestly never considered the answer to be nobody so Butler was my only remaining guess.

Ding ding ding. Stevie Johnson is the first and only Buffalo Bills WR to ever have back to back 1000 yard receiving seasons.Hard to believe. I'm surprised you got it this quickly.
:penalty: Your use of the word "who" in the OP implies that the answer must be a person. "Never" was my first thought as well, but I thought you would have said something to the effect of "when was the last time...".

You like how I made the fact that I didn't get it your fault, not mine? ;)

Good question though.

ETA: I would have guessed Moulds, but saw he had already been wrongly guessed.

I remember Moulds' odd streak of 4, every other year 1k+ seasons in a row. To pile on, the poor guy missed 10k receiving yards for his career by just 5 measly yards.
