Tulloch fumble recovery (1 Viewer)

right before half he tackles mercedes lewis/lewis fumbles and tulloch recovers. its scored simply as a fumble recovery for Tulloch. shouldn't he get credit for a tackle and forced fumble? he atleast should get credit for a tackle, del rio thought it was close enuff(mercedes being down) that he wasted a TO to see if the officials would call a review on the play.

i admittedly have Tulloch in a tight matchup

Generally any time a player is stopped, and a fumble is forced, then recovered, you see a tackle, forced fumble, fumble recovery. In my league that would be 4pts not just the 2 for the recovery. I see this happen every week with my players so I am not surprised he wasnt credited.

Anyone else feel that the Jag's scorekeeper was especially stingy with tackles tonight? For instance last play of the game Edwards scrambled right and Tulloch pushed him OB didn't score a tackle scorekeeper said Edwards ran OB very irritating, and assisted tackles were virtually non-existent for the Titans.

YES! Lazy scorekeeping. No assisted tackles, and I thought the wrong guy was credited multiple occasions. Stuff like that happens from time to time, but a lot of mistakes tonight.

The assists were horrible tonight.

Somehow both teams combined for 12 total assist tackles (2 were on a split sack). So 10 assist tackles on normal plays?! Seriously.....

The redskins game had 81 assists including 7 for London Fletcher. lol

Tulloch should have gotten credit for that push out of bounds as well.

I don't recall the play specifically but didn't the ball come out on its own and then Tulloch recovered it without anyone forcing it?

Well Tulloch was tackling him around the legs and the ball came out. But, shouldn't Tulloch get the FF? He was tackling the guy and he lost the ball, one could argue that the tackle caused Lewis to loose grasp of the ball. Someone said they didn't even think he got the tackle which is complete BS. And the last play of the game. And there were a few others tonight where I as a Tulloch and Finnegan owner got annoyed..

I have seen this go both ways. Even though he was tackling the legs he didn't push or hit the ball out. However, you normally see a player get credit who was "making the tackle" on the play. The Jax scorekeeper is so stingy though that he probably went the route of not crediting anyone because no one actually hit the ball out. But this play might get changed later in the week.

I have to agree with the frustration. I had Morrison and Tulluch in that game so I was watching them closely. There were numerous assisted tackles they both did not get credit for that nearly cost me my matchup. I just skated by with a 2 point win.

I was facing Tulloch and Babin, but had MJD, Hope & Kampman going.

It went down to the wire. Thought Babin got the solo and full sack on that late sack, but it was split. Then that non-tackle by Tulloch as well as the phantom forced fumble. There are enough plays that made me nervous that I'm afraid I may lose on the stat changes.

That whole last drive was a debocle for IDP leagues.

It should have been extra points but IDP in fantasy football is so inaccurate it really ruins leagues at times. I lost a championship game last year by two points when one of my players sacked the qb, forced the fumble and recovered. He was only credited with a fumble recovery by the league. This week I lost by 0.46 points when I should have been credited with a pass deflection by Curtis Lofton that resulted in Moore getting the interception. One of those leagues was CBS and one was Yahoo so it's not like it's one company screwing things up. It happens every week to somebody.Sorry buddy.

Multiple Scores said:
Kampman was in on a bunch of tackles and his stat line read 1 assist for the night.
:goodposting:For a prime time game, that seems to have been a poorly stated IDP game all around.

I agree that the scorekeeper was incredibly stingy Monday!! Cost me a win with both Tulloch and Kampman going. The FF, multiple tackles/assits missed. Totally frustrating. Perhaps this could explain why Morrison is having such a rough year tackle wise and why Durant didn't have great stats last year as MLB when he played...

I learned this the hard way when I would own Mike Peterson in 2003-2005 and he would have 4,5 assist tackles all season at home. Scorekeepers like the Rams and Jags make me even more frustrated when I watch the Redskins (like last Sunday night) and see assists credited on every play!

If Morrison got the leeway Fletcher gets from the Redskins home scorekeeper, he would have 52 tackles right now.
